Robinia Climbing

Robinia Climbing Units from KOMPAN

Children's desire to climb is instinctive and it is an important part of their development. As children climb they strengthen their muscles, build up bone density and will help them develop cross co-ordination.

School age children will be keen to start climbing and our Robinia range encourages children to climb in a safe environment while helping them grow in confidence.

Robinia structures can be included in any environment and will complement any site. Children will help improve their movement and fitness by using our climbing structures.

Your playground, your choice and your decision!

The Robinia tree is a tree that performs at every level. It grows in poor soil and produces a fine grained, strong, durable timber that is ideal for play equipment.

What type of rope is used in the climbing structures?

KOMPAN uses a special "Hercules" type of rope with galvanised six-stranded steel wires. Each strand is tightly wrapped with PES yarn, which is melted onto each individual strand. The ropes can be replaced on site if needed.

What Robinia equipment is the most popular?

Children of all ages love to climb, swing and spin and our extensive range of equipment covers all these activities. Each site is different and our experienced design team can help you pick what best suits your budget and site.
